The eOftalmo magazine is the first fully electronic magazine in the field of ophthalmology in Brazil and has taken another step towards the future.

We have revamped our site to make it more user-friendly and easier to understand. We have replaced the article submission system and are now using ScholarOne, the same system used by Arquivos Brasileiros de Oftalmologia. Authors will now use a single system to submit their manuscripts. This new system has been tested internationally and approved by several scientific journals. It allows for easier and more practical online submissions, streamlines the review process, and enables faster turnaround between submission and publication. Therefore, it is better able to meet the expectations of both the authors and the editorial team.

Now easier to use and more accessible to our fellow ophthalmologists, eOftalmo looks forward to your contributions. Case studies, literature reviews, opinions from specialists, and other types of inputs are all welcome. Submit your article soon! Your collaboration makes us what we are.
