The eOftalmo journal is putting all its efforts into improving its editorial process in order to obtain indexation. With invaluable help from the current leadership of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO), we are making important progress in the right direction. The next issue of the journal will have important changes. The article submission system used will be ScholarOne, which is the most advanced system available for scientific publications. We will also have a new and easier-to-understand website, with a better look and a more user-friendly format.

Now, we ask that our colleagues send in their articles, encourage their peers to publish with us, and show the strength of Brazilian ophthalmology in the world of scientific research. We at eOftalmo are looking forward to your article, whether it is in the form of a review, a clinical case report, or a surgery video. These publications can help share scientific information among all Brazilian ophthalmologists. Remember that, because eOftalmo is an exclusively digital publication, it can receive all types of media as part of your submission, with few restrictions on the number of figures or the methods in which your scientific work is presented.
